AIR ULTRASONICS

Massa Products Corporation has been producing ultrasonic transducers that operate in air for industrial applications for over fifty years. We have designed hundreds of different types of transducers having a wide variety of electroacoustic characteristics for use in many applications, including liquid and bulk level detection, counting, position location, profiling, collision avoidance, web break detection and tensioning, ultrasonic intrusion alarms, and an automatic scoring system for ten-pin bowling.  Some of these transducers have been mass produced at a rate of 40,000 per week.

If you know the type of transducer you require with regard to such characteristics as frequency of operation, radiation beam pattern, housing material, open or closed construction, bandwidth, impedance and size we have included data sheets on a few of our transducers. If you are unsure as to which transducers you need, or if you have a specialized OEM application, please contact us.  Many of the transducers and systems that we supply to our OEM customers have been customized for each requirement.
