Description

The Model TR-1025C was designed for the commercial oceanographic community for use as a general-purpose, wide-range hydrophone. It is capable of accurate underwater sound measurements from 10 Hz to 20 kHz, as well as generating medium-power acoustic outputs in the 1 kHz to 30 kHz range. The lead zirconate-titanate sensing element is assembled within a rubber housing, with its underwater high-pressure cable sealed into the housing. The Model TR-1025C will withstand underwater explosions without damage.

The Model TR-1016 Transducer is capable of operating as a receiver over the frequency range of 10 kHz to 80 kHz. Efficient transmitting operation is at 70 kHz. The directional characteristics are equivalent to a 5-inch line. It is provided with a 30-foot cable; other lengths are available on request.
