Description:
The Massa Model TR-1055C Transducer was developed for the commerical oceanographic community for use with deep-water, high-power transponders operating in the 8 kHz to 16 kHz range to depths exceeding 30,000 feet. The active element is housed in an oil-filled, butyl rubber boot mounted on an anodized aluminum base. The base is provided with high-pressure o-ring seals.
